The Ecclesiastical System

The issue which i attempt to throw light on here is not limited to me alone but to every individual of the social order today. We are today under the regime of consciously ordained intellectuals who are not only are rulers in disguise but quite surprisingly our personal idols and inspirational figures. This is a social relation which had been existing from the dark ages to today's globalized society only to change its appearance accordingly to continue with the hegemony that they had always subjected us to.
In earlier Aristocratic, Communist and Socialist Regimes they formed the clergyman, the Orator and the Leader of the Labor Class today they are the the Ministers, the Policy Makers and the Leaders of the civil society. They have been the real force of reproduction of the forces of production that as Marx said were necessary for the existence for these relations of production. What they earlier did they are doing today. The false sense of perpetuation and distribution of power that we have experienced has been their time tested and beloved gift to the population. And again we are indiscreet enough to be tricked. It was the work of these individuals to ensure and encapsulate the exploitative ruling class under the protection of their ideas. The common people who symbolizes them as their very own, the epoch of their class, easily believe there word. They in turn receive the share of power in the superstructures, which even today are the real manipulators and controllers of all the forces of production. They along with there monasteries, churches and clergyman then and Schools, Colleges and Institutes today..continue to provide the ruling "Democratic" order with machines that would continue to serve it conscientiously tomorrow.
People often question the grounds on which i raise my objections to a famous Engineer turned writer, who is unquestionably the most widely read contemporary Indian English Novelist. Or the team of ministers who are the products of two of the famous college from Delhi University and go on to participate in incessant debates about there respective institutes prominence.Or The Oxford and Harvard read Lawyers and Economists. On a thorough introspection it's not there works and ideas(which i find exemplary works of genius) that we pose a threat from, it's the illusion they sell. That they are one of us, that they think like us, they write our stories and they make the laws keeping us in mind. These factories of thought through which they emerged to become the most well respected men are the tools of the traditional intellectuals and the ruling elite to replace the older batch with a new of set of organic intellectuals. These schools, colleges and universities which follow a system of filtering the social mass are the like the closed halls that only  a few could enter. Once the pupils come out they are welcomed to new compartments and instantly elevated to the height of rulers. This is when there real work starts. The submission which they deem necessary of the "lower strata" to the current system and the division of labor. They tell us "what we pay you is enough" and  "what we say is right(cause of the factory certificate they carry)".
The power of control of the social apparatus is at Center of power struggle that goes on between different classes or groups of classes. Most of us have noticed that the Leaders of the Rajya Sabha today were the chairman of some department yesterday and MP of some constituency tomorrow. They  hardly ever come down the social ladder. The seats are just exchanged in place of sofas in various Departments and Governments. The family continues to replenish the want with sons taking places of fathers with people clapping to the same.
Why is it that a Writer from The IIT who takes the name of his alma matter and goes on to give insights in the life of an Engineer is accepted? but a Hindi Novelist from the small town of Bulandshehar in UP pushed to the edges of oblivion? I am not saying that people from places of such repute don't deserve it all. Its only not fair on our part to overlook and be indifferent to people who stand among us and try to liquidize this school of elite. We should back them to push open the doors of these factories and turn them to places that make no distinction or at least give a chance to more and more people unbiased to there economic status. The day should come when with every change of order new people should climb up the ladder social order and lead us to a stage where we will dissolve the state to new liberal standards. What we need is that the rein of such Institutes, the Army, the Police and election commission which despite the every 5 year change rest in the hand of the Elite. They should be discouraged from selling the idea of the ruling families(also the class) and made to understand that they are the representatives of there people and that ideally these institutions should be under the control of the Proletariat.

The Human Shell

Are we really free? Think for a moment. Are we not held in the dungeons of the Mind? Are we not shackled by the chains of an illusion called truth, reason, morality, and humanism? Have we not since time immemorial caught in the web of what we think is good and bad? Have not our voice been drowned under the declaration of those who led the dead into an underworld,  where everything is so disturbing that consciousness gets left behind somewhere on the path. What is religion? What are petty morals? What is love and does affection really exist? Have we not been since the moment, that the first rays entered our eyes and illuminated the world to us been filled to the very brim by notions that we are not really sure of? Have we not been pre programmed into each and every idea we have?

Sit in silence and you will hear the tormenting cries of the SELF. Everything in our life is guided by this single word. Don't we strive for things to please the self? In a situation when we have to decide our path on reason, we face two choice's either the one which considers us and the other(the one for which any one of us hardly goes for) which considers all, The Utilitarian View. But wait a second, is the utilitarian not a part of us? Is he free from the consideration of self? Isn't its audacity originating from the capacity of the self? I mean to say that even when we think  that we are keeping ourselves in the background and doing a thing in a transcendental state, are we not in the yoke of the human mind? Does not in this state also we in our boundaries which we believe to be the boundaries of the this world. Just consider any of your so called principles. You stick to it don't you?

Now again you divide yourself into two:one the Subjective Self and other the Objective self. This Objective self of yours which watches over you and criticizes you, whenever you face an invasion on its bulwark ends up completely subduing you as a whole and making you a subject. But what really starts consuming your consciousness is the static state of this objective self. In this state its starts a violence on you as a being. It becomes rigid and becomes agitated even at the slightest hint of change. Anything which restraints change is unnatural and unhealthy for the mind which ultimately goes on to become a slave and to be drowned in tutelage.

What do they say that they derive themselves from? their history ..right? Is history not just a perception? Dig a little and you will find the carcass of human thought. Is history independent of the human mind? Is it not what they wrote out of their will to enlist us among them? When they were not free how can we even develop the faintest idea that we will achieve freedom and consciousness by looking at them? Is it not only the Self which is the ultimate? Don't we only fool ourselves when we accept something as our own? Is not every Self..... distinct? Don't we face this ever day that even truth has a different definition for all of us? I say that it's only a hoax to believe that one can ever think of anything as acceptable by anyone but the Self? Is it not a fact that it's futile to look for a Self in the other but it's our misfortune that no matter how hard we strive, we end up doing it even when we believe that we are not.

Nothing but only the Self exists and everything else is within this Self. It is only beyond the extremes of our capacity to let go of our shell that is filled by nothing but.....(yes you guessed it right)....the Self.

THE TIME TO SAY NO!!!

Why cant we say NO? Why cant we shout STOP?
Our country and its people after its 64 years of independence have turned into a heard of scared and domesticated sheep who are being constantly consumed by a ruthless and ungrateful  lot of foreign and local powers. We hang our heads in shame and wait for our turn to be subjected to the torture of being reared of all our pride and self respect.to be robbed of or dignity and to be tricked out of our conscience .We the people of this great democratic country are being humiliated. In our homes we sit and resent over the ever increasing price of commodities. We struggle to obtain the simple pleasures of life.On the roads and in our day to day life we have to negotiate with uniformed goons who are always available to relieve us of the load of the the hard earned money that we carry in our pockets. In the governmental offices we run from desk to desk through a maze of cabinets and other office furniture, carrying with us our heavy load of well preserved certificates (all the legally required stuff )and giving bribes at each level to finally get a stamp.A stamp whose ink was washed by blood and a stamp which had to be graved under under the countless dead bodies of our countrymen( The Freedom Fighters). These men and women died with a selfless aim to make our make our country a place where people would live in intellectual harmony and everyone would have have equal right for the pursuit of happiness.
Now this stamp has been unearthed to mow down the people who raise objections and question the working of things. Each one of us had been punched by it so many times that we have lost the warmth of our blood and the courage to voice our opinions. We have mastered the art of running away from the naked truth and to look at the grey instead of dull side of things. The realization of helplessness that plague the 'Common Man' which used to haunt our dreams at night have drowned after a prolonged struggle to awaken us from our slumber. We have become so used to things that we go on to criticize anyone who decides to stand up for a cause .We would laugh at his fall but forget about the pit we ourselves are already in .
Our fears are heightened when people are Lathi Charged in a peaceful gathering .We fears for our lives .We hide in our homes and sit before our television instead of of going out an participating. These are historic times when a struggle and revolution is about to break the dykes of corruption and power. This is the time to be the part of a great force. Let us not wait when our children will have to undergo the same feeling of disgust and shame on the workings of our system. Come O! people of this great nation to replenish and strengthen Anna's force .Let us not let these stormy clouds stop the rays of hope on falling over us. It is high time when we come    in big numbers to say NO!!!!

Whats with Money and Sex?

It began with a golfer. Then came the football and cricket players. Then guys from the financial sector felt left behind and in came IMF Chief Dominique Strauss Kahn.Anthony Weiner was the latest entry to a long list.Adding a whole new spice to a dish that the paparazzi all over the world have been serving to us for quite some time now.Everyone is all over these sex scandals cause media loves the attention it attracts when a public figure is mowed down in their court of virtue.Strangely though the same people make them the lords of the prime time. But the question that arises from the recent turn of events is "Whats with Money and Sex"?
Honestly speaking my heart reaches out to these men undermining the fact that they broke the hearts and hopes of their lovely wives, children, friends and many hysteric fans and followers.I know that they have disrespected their profession and office position by indulging in what many call shameful and heinous acts. But think about it for a moment. They are rich and powerful. They drive the Mercedes and Ferrari. They are the ones with six pack abs or with mind boggling bank balances. They are soaked in the moolah. In there professional and private lives they are surrounded by beautiful women all the time. Its just logical that they indulge in affairs that the society is so critical of.I am not trying to justify infidelity but to understand the strong urge that leads to it.
Lets look at the psychological aspect of this problem. Each and every boy grows up watching James Bond .He secretly desires to have the the same life style.Driving fast cars and dating hot women. These testosterone filled guys work hard to achieve what they have always desired for that is excellence in their respective fields. Some of them taste early success and others get to it after a lifetime of hard work and struggle. When they finally reach a point when they can actually achieve what they have always dreamed of they don't see any harm in living their life King Size. Why cant they enjoy something that took so much of efforts and struggle on their part.Recently an English Footballer said that girls give them a lot of attention and show their availability for sex. They would do anything for being a WAG.Now would it be fair to solely blame these men for these scandals.
Hollywood has time and again witnessed women taking away their husbands fortune when filling for divorce.I don't  understand how this could help the victim overcome the trauma that she had experienced. When a person like Mr Kahn who is the chief of IMF is caught in a scandal it clearly portrays that this desire originates from his wish to prove    to himself that he is godlike .He wants to prove that nobody can harm him and that he is above all law and order. That he is why he becomes a sex addict cause he thinks that why cant i have multiple affairs when i am what i am?Its his and many others who wanna prove to themselves that they are the sultans of the modern world and they can do what ever they want.

But the media is going too hard on these men.Its very possible that they feel sorry for what they have done .May be they fell in love all over again or a failed marriage and lack of family love drove them to it.We need to give these guys one more chance cause after all boys will be boys right?

It's not about the BABA's

The media world is currently on it's toes all set to give the exclusive coverage of any further declarations from Baba's shivir  of supporters and aides. For the last 10 days this man has been all over the news .His comments and declarations have been the burning topic of discussions through out the country.Even his blood tests and weight measurement have been aired on live television. Some are saying that the media has gone nuts , which includes the senior delegates of the UPA coalition .They have been wagging their tongues over the major support the country has showered upon the movement to bring back the black money to our country from foreign banks kick started by none other then the beloved of the masses Baba Ramdev. The same man who started a revolution in the country and made crore of people to wake up each morning and pump out air through their nostrils in a way which would even scare a snake out of its venom.May be that's the reason why the Government of our country became so scared that they have assumed that a yoga guru who decides to agitate against  the  rising levels of corruption in our country is their prime enemy.
But these elite economists and spokespersons are not looking at the root of the problem or they don't want to.They still have their faith in the weak memory and lack of enthusiasm of the Indian people.Only recently P.Chidambaram claimed that  the media is providing a self appointed leader who himself is corrupt with 5 minutes of fame .Well may be he is not too happy about the fact that the someone else is getting the limelight other then their governments scam tainted ministers and bureaucrats. These guys have been all over the news for the past two years after Adarsh, Common Wealth and 2G .Or may be that there future prime minister Mr Gandhi who is next to the throne is no where in the news .And that brings me too the fact that neither Sonia or Rahul have stepped out on any public platform to talk about the Lokpal Committee or Baba's Agitation. They fail to understand that media is showcasing what the crowds demand. The people support him cause he speaks the language of the people and can discuss things in way that every individual understands them.On this they say that the person is misleading the people and start declaring their achievements in the world financial sector. We saved the "Indian Naiya" during the recession period , the GDP rose.We say to hell with the GDP and Sen-sex."Abey Ghanto!!!" ,we  just need our Roti and Dal in affordable and good quality .The ghosts of the 100 rupee/kilo onion is still haunting the common man.The government could only blabber , they find these demands to be kiddish and not of national importance. They say that they have got more important jobs at hand.I ask whats the benefit of a growth that never reaches to the pockets of the common man but only takes out things of his plate time and again?
When none of the political tools worked out the government applied force.Force to beat up thousands of women ,children and elders who were sleeping when the Dabanng police force did what they are best at doing.......beat up people.Hats off to the government guys and i would like to specially congratulate our Prime Minister who finally proved that he has got his balls in place. The same assests of his which have been a topic of Debate over the forever postponed hanging of Ajmal Kasab .A amn who buchered hundreds. Now they are onto prove that Baba and his aides are scamster's themselves. And as people know it everything is fine if two culprits accuse one other.Baba has got money in banks , undeclared assets ,properties all over the world. All this evidence has cropped up in a a couple of days without the formation of a investigating committee  .When other similar cases have been dealt with in years after spending crore of Rupees in JPC's and ACP's.Well at least he is not a public office holder or a government beneficiary .He is a businessman and even the people can understand how much money he must be making after organizing camps all over the country round the year.He is not stealing from us , betraying us or participating in any other kind of embezzlement that concerns public funds. And what in the world is wrong with a person who feels strongly about a issue and decides to take a stand ? People are joining him cause they have been holding their anger and outrage for quite sometime and Baba and Anna Hazare have got the the ability to mobilize and convert this potential into a thrust that can make history.
Personally i don't care who the man is or what his history is .As far as people support him and he stands for the right cause he is justifiable and credible.Instead of continuing with the political monarchy of some of the political families of this country we should strive hard to get our supported candidates to those political positions which have been unreachable for such men.Good leaders have been present before but they never got enough power to exercise it for the good of the public. With such leaders in top notch spots and committees like the Lokpal to keep a check on them, things would change and i firmly believe that a new era would dawn on the soil of our country.

friendless

"Man is a social animal", thats what i read in my moral science classes when i was a
little boy .We need friends and mates  to share ideas and thoughts .We exist cause we can communicate and express ourselves. We cant live alone and be aloof.Well what
stirred up these lessons was a article that i read lately .It discussed about the risinng
rate of people who feel alone and lonely even after living in a socialy vibrant
enviorment."More and more people are seeking professional psychiatrist help to cope
with this state", it said. These people are among us and inside us.People who have
family and friends. The young generation forms a major portion of this group. Now
that was shocking, boys and girls who spend hours on social networking sites and
are connected round the clock with their mates. How can they feel lonely?
What all of us have experienced is an inner urge to communicate with someone who
understands us.CODEWORD "Soulmate" or "best friend".We walk out every day among
the masses looking for that someone.People also call it "Love".We have been biologically programmed and mentally prepared into believing that we will reach a state of calm and happiness once we find them.We watch movies, read books and expect to find buddies like Hermoine and Ron.But life would have been very if it was easy to find these people. We make friends ,we share our secrets and our problems with them, we tell them that how much do we love them but not always do there feeling comes out to be the same for us.And hardly do anyone care about whats happening in someone else's life when each one of us have so much on our own plate.Expectations break and you only find no shoulder to lay your
head on.But still we get up in the hope that sooner or later we would succed. We feel
lonely and it starts clouding your brain. You slowly start believing in the opposite. The
warmth that you once shared disappears with time. But we again and again go out in
the same hope and each time the after effect is greater.Young people who have hundreds of friends on Facebook dont expect most of them to turn up for them.
People go to doctors who charge princely sums, make us comfortable in there beautiful offices to talk to us and to know the things that goes around in our head, when all the answers are already with us.Our conscience read out the rules to us daily to lead a happy life. But in the hustle and tussle of this everyday struggle to get ahead in the rat race we ignore the voice of god that is our true guiding light. We go against it so many times that it gets lost among the thousand thoughts that we have everyday. How do we expect to live peacefully when our mind is not peaceful .When we are struggling within ourselves ,it's only us that we can get help from.We need to get rid off those thousand thoughts which eats up our peace of mind.Once we do that and only listen to that inner voice everything appears to be clear. You can make better decisions ,understand  others and approach difficult situations with a new found confidence. You can judge other people effortlessly.
Once you do this it will lead you to that person.A feeling of content would envelope you and you would resonate with happiness.

God was here!!

First of all i am not a believer of Sai Baba and neither is this post about him.

Recently i had the opportunity of having a rather fascinating conversation with a companion of mine.We discussed on a variety of topics ranging from current ongoings in politics, movies and the sudden demise of Sai Baba .I quizzed him to express his sentiments about the same.Though he is a self confessed atheist he said there must be something about this guy that mesmerized people to huddle up in masses to catch a glimpse .I dug a littler deeper and asked him if he feels embittered when people say that he was a reincarnation of god.Like most of the people my age he starting questioning the existence of god himself and ridiculed on the whole idea and went on to saying that the man was a magician and used hypnosis as a tool to catch people's awe.He went on to establish the fact that his personal life was kind of murky. He had thousands of crore stashed up in his banks and that he had a lavishly extravagant kind of a lifestyle."Baba's don't live that way",he said. I murmured my acceptance afterwards.
I could not stop myself from reflecting on the fact that why most of us have become cynics with such querulous kind of attitude.Prodigious scandals and there trails leading to the nations most trusted dignitaries have afflicted a never healing wound on the sense of trust and security of our people.Corruption is going hand in hand with the ever increasing growth of the Indian economy.
A person who declared himself to be god with millions of followers is believed to be a wizard.
Only one question pops up in my head from time to time, what will happen when the much expected  and awaited reincarnation of god comes to earth ?how would people come to believe the fact that god is here .How would he establish his divinity?
I am sure it would a difficult task for the almighty.Lets imagine like lord Ram or Jesus Christ, god comes back on earth to enlighten us .This time also he wont be using any of his Laser beams or flying techniques. He decides to live the life of a common man and lead the life of virtue.Decide to fulfill his duties towards his family, society and country .Do his job selflessly ,ignoring corruption and bribes.Pays all his bills and taxes.Doesn't give out bribes at government offices and traffic signals to twitch the laws a bit for his convenience.Stands in line, waiting for hours to get his own money at banks and submit the fees of his children.Complaints about other offenders of law.Goes to vote with the hope that someday a new light of wholesome growth will dawn the land of our nation.Doesn't go stealing electricity for functions or construction at his home.Has no qualms about  getting transferred every month just for his dignity.Lives in a mediocre rented home ,drives a rattling scooter which needs hours to start, and wears clothes that doesn't always stick to his body.
Think people ,look around a little well we all know such a person who lives in our vicinity, haven't we? .The person who lost his hair early, whose sideburns turned white before his age could catch up.He walks around in his chappals which slap the heels of his feet when he walks .The person who people ridicule as a loser and underachiever .We have all laughed about his state of penury owing to his high headedness  and exaggerated amount of principles .We have said that he hides his incompetence behind his so called virtues. But we have all notes one thing that never leaves him alone the smile of contentment that always adore his face rugged by the sweat from his forehead and his pleasant way to express himself.
This means that we have all seen god and lived next to him.But did we realize his worth? No we didn't .Its completely incompatible to think that god would come on earth one day and would as a a commoner turn around  things in the current scenario .He too would be labeled as looser ,there would be no Hanuman or Laxman to stick with him in his time of hardships .God has been around people! lets follow him .Change happens when we start believing and appreciating things .Rather then running after Baba's we should seek the company of the bald, slightly bent person who has white hair laden sideburns and a smile of contentment adoring his face.He lives nearby ,go and meet him.

We are Friends no morE

I was lying on my bed listening to the radio.Repeatedly changing the channel ,it was half past 12 .the whole colony was asleep but my family like always was busy. The gatekeeper was walking on the roads striking his danda on the black making a familiar sound which i could hear clearly. This was the hour at which old Hindi songs dominated the scene. My brother was sitting next to me.He told me that today he saw a girl. This girl is from our locality .Our houses are across a small park facing each other. Both of them played together ,went to the same school till class 10.But that day after 6 years they didn't look at each other even as they walked past each other ,greetings were a distant image. He expressed his inability and discomfort to understand the fact that why people start ignoring each other.Well my head went into a tizzy too as this was a think that i also came across.
Is it that people move on or never forget some of the instances of life .They are sometimes not comfortable coming across people who are familiar with there past and their self.People who may know things about them. They want to be unknown strangers.People are afraid and even ashamed of petty things that happened in the past.carrying this heavy load of memories on their backs.Everyone wants to start again. To be lost among the crowd. For most of us the grass is always greener on the other side. They say they will find new mates when they start all over again. All this ends up creating in creating a void.
Well what we forget is the fact that relations grow stronger with time.Go ahead talk to someone whom you met years ago an old classmate may be ,i am sure  you will end up feeling happy.People grow mature with time and the hard feelings all get sublimed.
Go and say hello, other then feeling bad about it later.Even if the other guy is not that interested you can be relieved about your own part.In the long run you will end up making good friends and being more confident about meeting new people.Don't think that the people who don't know you that well will end up being a better friend instead people who know you will understand you better. So don't be a unsocial bozzo ,meet people ,exchange smiles and feel happy .No one cares about your past everyone wants to be happy and be in  the company of friends.
A week later my brother  told me that he met her again at the internet cafe and exchanged greetings .They had a long conversation and exchanged numbers.
There was a smile on his face.

ahmmmmm love ....really?

"love",well this word has been exhausted  with merciless barbarism.Really everyone and everything around us    is showcasing something about this thing which people say makes god's children go crazy.TV is showing shows that have young couples fighting out the vamps in there extended joint families just for it,internet is becoming the best tool for not so good wannabe players of the love game to polish there skills ,radio is full of RJ's trying to solve people's love problems .Yet many of the young people and teenagers are a addled lot .When this topic comes up somewhere, they chalk out there strategies for the same, whose fragments originate from heartbreaking crushes and many reality shows.I was just a few days ago having a conversation with a interesting ,intellectual and really studious good girl i know. She told me that she wishes to write about various instances where girls and boys think they fall in love and how they after a while finds it  to be utterly senseless and stupid.Me i have not experienced it yet and nor do i look forward to it cause i seriously believe now would not be a good time .I asked her has she ever been in it herself ,she said she had a series of crushes and may be that was the major reason behind her perception of things. Many other says that love is a confusion and something that runs out of steam pretty soon and that its all the sex and the harmones playing with ones head.
I could not stop thinking about it for a long time and asked to myself why this sudden shift in the attitude .I asked myself don't our parents, grandparents love each other ,are they not really happy and content .Even when most of them came together through arranged marriages. But they were ancient times right ? ,everything has changed since then.
One morning I woke up late and went to look at myself in the mirror.Brushing my fingers through my hair i felt a sudden sense of DEJAVU .For a second i felt like this same thing has happened in the past.I shrugged it off after a second .Looking at my image i exclaimed ,"hey, i love you!".On saying this i remembered about the above written things and then i thought that love is not limited to some people .It can be anything which brings a smile to your face, something which forms a part of your life ,someone's company, your mother's age old bhajan ,the early morning cook of the koyal ,getting soaked in rain, your old bike, the strum of your guitar ,your old school belongings ,your first watch or a walk on a cool windy evening with someone you cherish. We can fall in love with anything we want .Those who don't feel it's existence are keeping there eyes shut and don't wanna get over things that were naive .Some people think that there is no one special for them.WAKE UP! people look around you ,give a thought to those things which you have today and how you would feel if they are taken from you .Think about things that you don't care about  and take them for granted .Nature ,birds ,music, art and you yourself .Relish the fact you were born totally normal and self sufficient biologically .Love yourself and the wonderful world around you, look closely and you may find something to fall for in everything. So don't go on denying the existence of this lovely feeling .Go and fall for it takes you to cloud nine.

Sounds of life!

As i lay in the bed with half opened eyes ,disturbed at the thought that my mother would soon wake up and ask me to go fetch milk from the dairy which was at a not so walking distance from my home. But it was not the walk i resented it was the detachment from the bed at the hour when it was at it's comforting best and the night was no longer sultry, even the mosquitoes were off to there well deserved rest after another night of battle to feed on our blood.
I lay there cherishing that very captivating moment when i felt my self to be in resonance with the breezy cool morning.I could experience that everything in the surrounding was expressing something.I looked at the ceiling fan rotating slowly producing a scratching sound which was in a rather surprising way unlike its customary irritating effect on my ears sounded timely and rhythmic.I could address the chiffchaff of the birds and the chattering sound made by the chipmunks who resided in the meter box of my house and god knows why they were extremely attached to that place .I could hear the rustling of the leaves as the air filtered through them.I could no longer lie in that languid state when so many pleasant things were happening outside .I got up and stood for a while near the door .I could make out the creaking sound from the hinges of my neighbors window as they opened it more out of habit then to let in the cool air.Someone in the locality had played some bhajans the music was distinct and relieving .Someone in the house opened a water tap and placed a bucket below it and as the water tripped in it in irregular patterns of fall ,i tried to guess the exact level of water in it at the instant .The newspaper boy was tossing his bundles in the houses and the thud they produced made me realize the accuracy of the guy .
I got up and dressed up in the usual tee and shorts .My mom was already in the kitchen, i could hear the shrieking whistle of the pressure cooker. Thus started one more day of chaotic and mad rush in each Indian household and as i set out on my journey armed with a dabba and earplugs for my mobile i reflected upon the sounds that make our daily life .How we can conceive the world even without opening our eyes with there help.i felt sorry for all those people who miss out on them .I was lucky to have snatched away some moments of tranquil from the noisy town life that we had.

the Entrepreneur yogi

people in the united states actually pay someone for meditating ,can u actually believe that?
yes they do to some business minded yogis who have actually registered asana's and sutras. How else do you think the yoga industry rakes up to 5.7 billion there.Soon there could be patents for mantras , breathing ,good posture and even eating right.People like Bikram Choudhury are buying yoga copyrights and has even invented his own (as he says) a series of 26 postures which he calls his own "HOT YOGA" performed in a room at 105 Celsius .He has made a revenue stream out of it, studios that use his name pays him franchising fees.
Well deserved i must say but what he is  actually doing is stealing away India's cultural heritage and making money out of it,"ghor kalyug ".
yet the man says in his own words "i am  a yogi not a business man".
According to the Times of India, "The US Patent and Trademark office has reportedly issued 150 Yoga-related copyrights, 134 trademarks on Yoga accessories, and 2,315 Yoga trademarks."
but thanks to god such patents are not really enforceable cause how could anyone monitor the world and stop people from whistling out air from their nostrils each morning.
what these guys don't understand that yoga is not just bending of limbs, its the wholesome well being of the body, spirit and mind.
According to Swami Ramdev, "Yoga can't be owned and run like a company. Since there are attempts to patent this tradition (of Yoga) in America, the Centre and Yoga organizations should take measures to prevent it."
finally the Indian government woke up to the cause and they have formed an organization to bring together tamil and sanskrit texts which will catalogue yoga techniques and ayurveda medicines to check any future patents. The information will be available online to all the patent offices throughout the world .well i must praise our government on this move(sometimes we should)
Lets hope our "firang" friends don't continue with the activity registering the property of our nation under the name of some well to do businessman(oh yogis i must say) and get over the fact that yoga to indian's is something more than what the movie "The Guru " was to them!!!!!

The Addled Vigilante

"The boy strikes again",this was the headline of a daily that i go through each morning .Utsav Sharma the self declared vigilante against the rich, malicious and the culprits of get away cases, who became famous due to his attack on retired  DGP SPS rathore facing charges of molesting a young 16 year old girl. The accused got away ,the whole nation was aggravated and then one day out of nowhere a young lad  attacks him with a penknife and makes the men bleed .The media got its hero ,he was everywhere every newspaper, every news channel and even on the cyber world.People accepted him as a hero who made the evil men realize his bad doing. The police did nothing to nab the boy ,he was jailed for three days and released on a bail of Rs 50,000.It was stated by his parents that there boy is suffering from a psychological problem that prompts him to take  extreme steps in such cases.
This time the boy chose a new target Mr Rajesh Talwar  the prime suspect in the unsolved murder mystery of aarushi his daughter and hemraj his domestic help.He attacked talwar with a cleaver and nearly took his eye when the man had gone to the court to oppose a plea by the CBI to close the case.It certainly seem to me that the newfound fame has gone to the boys head and he is hungry for more .He attacked a person who has gone through multiple lie detector tests to establish his innocence but our boy here finds his own decision making superior and righteous then any court or enquiry that ever had something to do with this case.
Utsav Sharma an alumnus of NID was an introvert in his college days a self centred and shy person who mostly kept to himself .Bored of his not so normal life, decides to do something that would bring him attention and eyeballs. He could in no way be mentally lacking as the guy planned the whole attack with appreciable smoothness .The result he gets is the whole country want to know he is and why he decided to do such a thing. He was never afraid of the law and what a excuse his psychologist mother finds to save her boy,"My boy is mentally ill",well done i must say .She appeals against the accusation .Something not new for us as everyday people are appealing against the Dhobi's in Dhobhi Ghat.Hurrah he is out and what about the ill boys monitoring to prevent any such attacks in future.Well our khaki guys are just too busy with all the kalmadis and adarshes .
But the poor boy  soon faded as the Indian audience have got a daily supply of reality shows where the judges laugh like maniacs .He had to maintain his TRPs and for that a second round was needed and so it happened. He got his well deserved views and interviews and it really wont  be surprising if he is again released after a few days in jail.
What all of us Forgot !!!! in these series of events is that no matter how bad be the scene of judicial justice be in our country we have to show faith and not go on supporting such attention seekers who have'nt got anything better to do at home.Such people have to be dealt with firmness as the man he attacked has not been proved guilty. They are making mockery of the law and the police. They are in no way different as they are molding the system to get away from punishments they deserve.Such instances would only bring on more of such missions and we all know how things like these would go on spreading like the famous shoe hurling competitions which took place not so long ago. This is something to be curbed now otherwise we will be starting a new process of lawlessness and vigilante justice.
